| SOHO Static Sites |
| Generally the Small or Home Office static site will consist of 5 - 10 pages,
mainly outlining your products, a little about yourself and/or your company, along with
a form for people to contact you requesting information, a brochure, etc.
5 pages starting at $500.00
Add'l Pages: $80.00 ea. (large forms extra) |

| Database Driven Web Sites |
| These can be for a SOHO or a larger business. If
you will be changing content frequently using the same layout, and DO NOT want to hire a web designer every time
you want to make changes, you can have the information updated in a database and the content displayed dynamically. No
limit to what can be accomplished here. Initially more expensive, but a huge money-saver down the line if you will be needing constant updates.
Starting at $800.00, but we really need to have you contact us with your needs to give a true estimate. |

| The Tropical Method Of Site Design... |
| ...is with an eye toward quick loading, functional
websites, appealing to the eye but without alot of unnecessary glitz. Sure, glitzy sites are
fun to visit when you're just out looking for a novelty, but you have a business to run and want to impress that
you are in this to do business, NOT to entertain.
We believe a website should load quick and KEEP VISITORS ON YOUR SITE. We find too many people that
are new to the "Net Game" want their pages full of animations and music, etc. While an occasional animation in the right
place may be fine, sites that have objects spinning and blinking, and music playing will annoy the vast majority
of people rather than impress them. There is no quicker way to get visitors to leave your site than to annoy them. |

| Marketing/Search Engines |
| Man! What a mess this has become. Almost all of the search engines are going to a "Pay To Be Listed" system.
Getting a high ranking and maintaining it is becoming
next to impossible. Especially if your product line is not extremely unique. There are simply too many thousands of sites
out there under most categories. While alot of people SAY they can get you top rankings, I've yet to see anyone that can do it on a
consistent basis. Beware the design company that charges you X number of dollars and "guarantees" a high ranking. Be sure that guarantee includes
which keywords/key phrases will result in those rankings, and how long they guarantee you'll KEEP those rankings. A common practice by these
firms is to include a phrase several times in the title, content and meta tags of your site that no one else would have in their web pages. Of course,
this is probably going to be a phrase that no one will search for either, except of course the company, to show you that you come up at the top of
the results, and fulfill their guarantee.
To that end, we just don't get involved in marketing. We're not going to mislead you and tell you: "Build it
and they will come." Honestly, they may not come, unless you are prepared to spend for "real marketing" by a company that specializes in marketing, using
other methods ALONG WITH the search engines. These may include
targeted banner placements, reciprocal links, and inclusion in newsletters.
To summarize: Be prepared to spend money. Don't be fooled into thinking search engines are the be-all and end-all. They are not. |
